Oh God, what have I become.
I’m not the loving man you put me here to be.
I’ve been caught up in this game of life.
I don’t even know who I am anymore.
When I look into these mirrors I don’t know who I am.
I don’t know who I am anymore
The world keeps on taking away from me
I don’t know how to give anymore
I’ve let my love turn to hate.
Oh, how i’ve forgotten that your son gave me everything.
Oh, how i’ve forgotten that your son gave everything away.
I should be no different. I’m here to love like he did.
Oh God, what have I become.
I’m not the loving man you put me here to be.
I’ve been caught up in this game of life.
I don’t even know who I am anymore.
Who am I to be distracted from the one true thing in this life that is forever.
You are forever, and I’m forever yours.
You are forever, and I’m forever yours.
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
I don’t usually go out much for metalcore/deathcore but this album would easily make my shortlist. Emotionally captivating with great storytelling and an overall solid musical performance. 7/10 RJ
