I am not the law. I’ve had enough of your pointless rules now get out of my face.
I am not the law. I am not the law.
I am not a person you can tread all over with your judgments like a filthy snake, Slither. Slither.
It’s getting harder now to hold my temper. I’ve had enough. I’ve had enough.
Slither away. Slither away.
This insanity isn’t part of me.
To hell with hypocrisy.
And your piety.
let me free.
You can’t keep chains on me.
You know i’ll always break free.
It’s easier to push me away than to hear what I say.
You see me bleed. It’s not for you and not for me.
I bleed for my Father, for the lost and for the unloved.
You can’t keep chains on me.
You know i’ll always break free
You see me bleed.
It’s not for you and not for me
This insanity isn’t part of me.
To hell with hypocrisy.
And your piety.
let me free.
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
I don’t usually go out much for metalcore/deathcore but this album would easily make my shortlist. Emotionally captivating with great storytelling and an overall solid musical performance. 7/10 RJ
